With an extensive background on top circuits like Adidas Gauntlet, Adidas Gold, Under Armour Rise, and Nike, Mike has consistently led Hoop Dreams to the forefront of the travel basketball scene in Kentucky. Over the years, his teams have not only competed at a high level but have also successfully helped placed hundreds of athletes into colleges nationwide. As Mike continues to grow his basketball empire with Hoop Dreams Basketball Academy, you can trust that your child's journey to the next level is in expert hands.
Hoop Dreams is proud to announce that it will be exclusively rocking with New Balance, making us the only true Kentucky program, organization, or team to participate in a top-level shoe circuit. This means players from Kentucky no longer have to leave the state or join a neighboring program in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, or Tennessee. Hoop Dreams is committed to being the top-level program that keeps Kentucky players right where they belong—in Kentucky.
The Prelude League

Players on this level are set to compete in The Prelude League supported by New Balance, where they'll face elite competition on a national stage. Representing the pinnacle of talent, they showcase excellence while donning exclusive New Balance apparel. Players at this level operate at a Division 1- High D2 level; only one team per age group.
JR. Prelude League

Our popular Hoop Dreams free-throw-a-thon provides a straightforward and effective way for your player to raise hundreds of dollars, with the funds going directly toward their fees.
